Here's something I need a little help with.  Does anybody have any ideas?

Those of you who have military vehicles may have had this problem before.  Some old style front turn signals have smokey / purple glass in them, and 24 volt amber bulbs are not so easy to find.  Here's what to do.  First, get some bulbs you want to color.  Wipe the glass with alcohol to remove any grease and fingerprints.  Wrap the base of the bulbs in masking tape, and rig a way to hand the bulbs inverted while they dry.  Put something (newspaper) under them, because they will drip.  Take one packet of Knox unflavored gelatin, add it to 1/4 cup of water in a saucepan.  Heat, stir, add many drops of yellow food coloring, add a few drops of red food coloring, stir some more, and remove from heat.  As the mixture begins to cool, it will thicken.  As the mixture starts to thicken, dip a bulb and coat it.  Remove the bulb, hang it, dip the next one, and so on.  Let the bulbs dry somewhat before adding them to the mixture again.  Keep re-dipping them until you are satisfied with the color.  I dipped the ones in the photo about 6-8 times.  You may have to heat the mixture again from time to time, and if it sets up completely, re-heat it gently - don't burn it.

Siemens
MSC2001

Voice encryption unit, manufactured by Siemens Germany, especially for use with AN/PRC 77 Radios which are/were used worldwide. Brand new, originally packed units, new old stock, without any accessories/manual....,14 pole MS- connector not included

They store up to eight "keys" and a selector on the front chooses the keys 1-8.  The selector also has positions "CLEAR" (unencrypted) and "CODE ERASE" to erase all codes.  The connectors are labeled "REMOTE" and "TX / RX" and use the same connector as the power connector on a PRC-77.  Inside, a 3.4v lithium battery retains the keys.  Origionally, a key gun with punched cards was used to load the keys, but a US company has come up with plans to program the keys with a PC.  I would like to know how to connect this to my PRC-77 and RT-524.  If anybody has any tips, or questions, e-mail me please.
